In the music of COLOURED VIBES calm jazz music meets on grooved funk and dancing Swing. The six musicians from the music scene of Gera & Jena, which make music since summer 2003 together, connect the different music styles to a uniform concept.

The very variable sound the band gets its characteristic by Anke Starks warm, strong voice and the dynamic guitar play of Ingo Graf. Ralf Möbius (bass) and Ralf Jöhn (drums) provide for Groove and Andreas Möbius and Daniel Zein supplement the music of Coloured Vibes with sensitive saxophone sounds and creative Piano fills.

Thus develops a variable program, which flows on the stage gladly into the liberty of the improvisation. The Repertoir of that band reaches from own compositions over classical authors of the Smooth jazz up to Coverversions of modern Funk componists like Nile Landgren and Brand New Heavies..
